Chef Justin Donaldson is a graduate from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He has charted an impressive career path through fine dining establishments in Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago and New York City, honing his craft under the tutelage of four James Beard Award Winning Chefs and three Food & Wine Best New Chefs. He arrived in Kansas City after many years spent working within One and Two Michelin starred restaurants. Chef Justin Donaldson’s passion for fine dining has inspired him to create ROOTS, a fully customizable fine dining private event service, so named for the five underlying principles that motivate and define his culinary artistry: Relevant, Original, Opulent, Transcending and Simple.
